hi hi,

There are so many ideas that we bring to life at Principal Planner and today we’re showing you the easiest things you can do to make your wedding so cute without breaking the bank.

Exhibit A: The Card Box

DON’T purchase a 50$ box from a gift shop. DO hit up Homesense to get a great birdcage. (Then, gift it to your wedding planner! Thanks jessica!) *Make sure your cage is big enough for envelopes or else… you’ve missed the point. Make a little sign for it, just incase your guest’s don’t know what the heck its for.

Exhibit B: The favor

I am a true believer in NOT giving some random novelty gift to your guests. Please , please don’t spend 5 dollars/head for a frame with your picture in it or matching salt and pepper shakers. Instead of wasting your hard earned money, do something meaningful or just plain yummy! Jessica is a doctor. She had a planner, yet she decided to take this next project on and did it so well. She made 100 tea cups at her pottery class! Her fiance, Georges, purchased the tea while on a business trip in Singapore and together they gave everyone a personalized gift with a note explaining its meaning to them. She even packaged them for us! We printed some cute stickers for her and Voila, a great gift peeps loved! (*pic below shows Jessica with her pottery teacher)

Exhibit C: Tiny Detail-big change

If you ask anyone that works with me, they’ll say I’m crazy. I will make 300 ribbon bows to place on each napkin or cover every placecard in fabric… Here I added ribbon to the ghost chairs to give them a little somethin somethin. Very easy way to change them up and coordinate with any colour palette.

Happy Thursday people!

This week is pretty much coo coo for coco puffs around here! I just wanted to put that out there ( ‘A’ thinks I am so random, but I am). Moving right along, I wanted to talk about a Canadian wedding dress designer that I think should be on your list of options, especially if [...]
